Our long term focus is on supplying our clients with a balanced meat and wool package that is compatible with increasingly important animal welfare issues without compromising productivity
We are committed to breeding sheep that are productive and sustainable. We firmly believe that future industry markets will dictate that we provide super soft and superior processing wools with a strong meat emphasis produced in a way that is in harmony with an ever increasing environmentally conscious consumer base.
Each year our ewe hoggets cut 6-7kg of wool (adjusted to 12 months) at 17.5 – 18.5 mic, our ewes regularly rear 120% lambs and our flock measures well above industry average on ASBVs for early growth, muscle depth and fat cover. All this is achieved with a plain bodied, wrinkle free flock that has not been mulesed or jetted for over 10 years.
We feel we are well on the way to achieving our long term goals.
